Jonathan Baker

Jonathan Baker is a co-founder and principal in charge of 3BY's Architecture practice, and is based in our New York office.  He received his Masters in Architecture from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, where he was an assistant editor of D:Documents and Newsline Journal.  Prior to founding 3BY, he worked at SHoP Architects and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in New York City.  He is a Registered Architect in New York and Colorado, is a member of the Architectural League of New York, and has taught at Pratt Institute School or Art and Design.

Kristina Baker

Kristina is a Co-Founder and Principal in charge of 3BY's Interior Design practice. Kristina began her design career as an entrepreneur in San Francisco where she started a firm through which she sold her own acclaimed line of women’s accessories. Her line of handbags was sold at many of the top boutiques in the country, such as Fred Segal in LA and Sarah Shaw in San Francisco.

Prior to founding 3BY, Kristina worked for KBDA Architecture and Interior Design where she was a Design Associate for 4 years. Her projects included a broad range of private residences in Southampton, New York, Palm Beach, Florida and the mountains of Colorado.

Kristina has lived in France, Spain and Mexico and her extensive travels inform the global vision of design that she brings to the 3BY team. She pursued her BA in International Studies at Georgetown University with a focus on French and Italian. She lives in Denver with her husband and beloved dog, Auggie.

Sebastian de Atucha

Sebastian is a co-founder and principal in charge of 3BY's Sustainable Homes practice. He was introduced to real estate by his grandfather at the age of 18 when he started managing two commercial properties in Florida. More recently, Sebastian led the total renovation of a historic landmark home in Boulder, Colorado and the development of a sustainable home at 727 Forest St in Denver. Currently, Sebastian is managing the development of a LEED-Platinum, 3BY-designed home at 725 Forest St, one of the first LEED homes in Colorado.

Prior to founding 3BY, Sebastian was involved in several entrepreneurial ventures, including co-founding and serving as Chief Operating Officer of an internet technology firm that developed web-enabled marketing and transaction software for the luxury, adventure travel market. From 1996 to 1999, Sebastian worked as a strategy consultant in KPMG's telecommunications practice, helping companies from start-ups to regional phone companies analyze and implement major marketing and technology initiatives.

Sebastian has an AB from Dartmouth College and an MS from Stanford University in Engineering-Economic Systems. He recently received certificates in Green Building and Construction Management from Colorado State University and holds the US Green Building Council's LEED Accredited Professional designation.
