Build green. Live well. ℠
The concept of "Build green. Live well.℠ " captures the essence of our design philosophy at 3BY.
It is only through more sustainable buildings that we can live well on this planet. At the same time, living well necessarily means homes (and buildings) that are healthy, functional, and asthetically satisfying places to spend our lives in and around.
At 3BY we believe that sustainability and thoughtful design are essential in creating happiness from our human exeriences with buildings.
3BY has made 4 specific environmental commitments.
1. Build all of our homes to the highest environmental standards, The US Green Building Council's LEED-Homes certification as well as the 2030 Challenge standards.
2. Build homes that are beautiful and compelling from a design perspective. This makes them more likely to be around in 50 or 100 years.
3. Use renewable energy whenever possible on all construction sites, such as Xcel Energy's Windsource program.
4. Offset all 3BY vehicle emissions using carbon offset programs, such as TerraPass.
