727 Forest St: Design Features & Plans
Exterior/Elevations
The front elevation of 727 Forest St echoes a traditional barn-like design with the prominent front gable, while the less-prominent flat roofs clearly establish the home's contemporary nature. The exterior materials here will be vertically-installed wood siding (clear, heart grade) stained a natural color complemented by grey stucco, metal roofs, metal railings, concrete retaining walls and walkways, and wood trim.
By designing the garage below grade, not only was the architectural integrity of the front elevation preserved, but the back yard was preserved as a landscaped space (instead of a garage).

Lower Level
The lower level provides those informal, flexible spaces so essential to modern families. The lower level offers:

- in-floor radiant heat with polished concrete floors
